Mothers, a personal project.
Since the day I discover I was expecting with my one and only baby boy, I feel the uttery necessity of illustrate about maternity. At the beginning I was afraid, thinking that I could lose my illustration clients if they start seeing me as 'the woman who illustrated pregnant ladies and babys' but instead of that my irrational fear was erased by an enormus community of women and parents and even people without any relation with parenthood, who appreciated my artwork and motivated me to keep talking about important issues around maternity, so this project it has been a form of artivism in pro of respectful births, breastfeeding defense and divulgation, the rights of expecting women, child protection, and many other important issues in this beautiful and chaotic world of beign a mother.
